Taipei MRT stations--with tone marks

The MRT is a wonderful system. But its bastardized Wade-Giles stop names are not much help, even for those few who know the Wade-Giles system.

The "Kuting" stop is a good example of the problem. Is it pronounced Kuting, Kuding, Guting, or Guding? The answer is the third; but it is completely impossible to know that from what is written at the MRT stops and on standard maps.

Click on any station name at right or below for a complete list of stops in Chinese, hanyu pinyin, and bastardized Wade-Giles.
